Lack of order affecting you physically?

So i went to sleep in 17:00 and woke up at 00:50. Needless to say i couldnt go back to bed, so i thought about playing my guitar yet i have this "cloud of numbness" above me that prevents me to really play it with emotion(i can play but in a dull way). I have this feeling of "damnit now the whole day routine is ruined" because i overslept. Is it possible that the "order" i have for my day(very strict rules) can affect me physically and prevent me from doing something useful like reading and such?

I rarely oversleep,wake up at dawn.But if I do,I feel like I'm sleep hung over and then my whole day is draggy and I can't seem to get anything done and I wind up on the couch all day feeling burned out.

The deviation from your schedule can definitely screw you up for the day and prevent you from doing anything productive. I have always found a strict schedule one of the most maladaptive routines that I could have.

Not only sleep produces that effect though. I remeber that whenever my mom would say "were goin to therapist" or "were going to this city for a couple of hours" i would have this feeling of "the day is ruined!"

You have this too? Do you have any "lift up" methods that stop the numbness or you just let the numbness go on its own?

The trick is to couch people around you to let you know more than 24 hours in advance. That will help alot. Unexpected changes in our plans, even if the plan is to sit at home watching the wall, is usually very painful for spectrumites.

Usually I wake up to the minute of the time I woke the day prior, which makes it essential to get to bed at the same time each night. Emotional turbulence will upend sleep. Sleep is sorely underrated. The right amount of regular sleep is the best vitamin.
