l get your angle but a person can have an outsider's perspective and seem like they aren't really a part of the social world for many reasons that are unrelated to neurology.
Sometimes it makes for amazing insight and comedy. l find that most often in the case of comedians, they come from troubled childhoods and have other issues that explain their differences although they are probably a bit smarter than average to begin with. Instead of being damaged by life, they are able to remove themselves and act as a spectator of their own lives and turn out much better than people who are not able to do this.
As similar as that can be to autism though, it really occurs quite frequently in NTs.
There are a few comics that l think see more Aspie anyway and they may actually have none of the circumstances l described. Mitch Hedberg seemed extremely Aspie to me and Louis Black sometimes gives me vibes. But most seem to have too much social intelligence, or at least to little difficulty in sharing that social intelligence and wisdom with others.
