I ordered a 30 pound queen size weighted blanket from sensacalm a few weeks ago. My first impression was that the blanket is well made with durable cloth and is nicely stitched. I chose the charcoal color cloth, and while this material isn't rough, it's no where near as soft as my favorite blanket. The texture will take some getting used to for me.

I'm about 215lbs and I definitely would prefer more weight. At least a 60lb weighted blanket. The queen size blanket distributes the 30 pounds out quite a bit, enough so that there isn't much pressure on me. The queen size is also not as tall as my other queen blanket, which bothers me as I sleep completely under my blankets.

I do sleep better with the blanket and I am enjoying it greatly, even though it's not ideal for me. Now when I am thinking of getting comfortable an image of this blanket comes to mind. :D

If I were to order another it would have to be from a store that offers weights over 40 pounds, and something like a california queen size blanket.

Maybe you could fold it in half if you sometimes want more intense weight? I know that's not as good in terms of distributing the weight everywhere, but might be an option?

I looked at this company a while ago but never bought anything. Maybe you could try them:
