I lose track of the days sometimes...

Does this happen to you? It happens to me quite often. I'll get overly confused as to what day it is. For a moment I thought it was Monday today xD (It's now 12.28am GMT here) but I thought it was Monday, not Sunday.

I've often turned up to appointments on the wrong day because of this. I once turned up a month early because I got the month wrong on the date for an appointment (Turned up 15th Feburary instead of 15th March)

This is going to sound strange, maybe, but I don't even know what day it is unless there is some external force keeping me reminded of it, like work or school. While unemployed, out of school and at home, it's just a day.

I drove to town the other day to see the Psychologist and when I got there no cars were in the parking lot,boy was I mad! I thought they had cancelled and didn't call me.When I bought a newspaper and noticed the date I realized it was the wrong day.I really don't pay attention and only notice what day it is when I push info on the T.V.remote

This will sound strange too... I can tell you the day for any date in any year, but most of the time I don't know what the current date is. Losing track of the days is just a sign of isolation from the world. In that respect I would think it's pretty common in ASD.

It happens to me on occasion. I have wound up showing up at the wrong time for work a few times because I forgot which day it was. I also get confused on what day it is because it doesn't "feel" like the day it is. Then again, that's why I carry a cell phone with a built in calendar!

It's no surprise it is difficult to keep track of something that changes every day.
