As a child i used to catagorise my tv programs. in a conversation with my NT friend i realised this is not infact normal for your average 7 yr old. i used to catgorise them based on origion, accent, time, style mornin or aftenoon.

was this just my small quirkor is it common with ASD kids to do things like this?

I don't know if it's exactly diagnostic criteria, but a lot of people on the spectrum seem to enjoy categorizing and list-making. I know I do! :D

I would plan out my TV-watching schedule every week.

I also used to save TV GUIDES or, at least, articles from them (on occasion, clippings of listings of favorite episodes of various shows).
