So, I was just nearly hit by an out of control semi. As in, someone literally threw me out of the way.
I'm shaken and haven't been able to speak for about an hour now... has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, me.
It was in my case even for nearly two weeks once.
I have mutistic symptoms sometimes. Those can be part of ASD.

Relax and try to think about something else.
Don't try to force you.

Yep. Regaining speech tends to happen after a few hours for me. I've never almost been hit by a semi though.

That must have been terrifying.

I would assume that since you can still communicate (type) that is a good sign? I do not know about these things, but I wish you a speedy return to your usual state of being.

I can only get about 1 and a half syllables out still. Gonna go to bed and get some sleep. Hopefully I'll be verbal tomorrow.
SO MUCH STIMMING.
