I will start the process next week, a one hour session with a psychiatrist followed by 4 hours of testing on 2 separate days about two weeks apart. I presume there will be an IQ test, what other sorts of tests might I expect to be given, what was your adult diagnosis testing procedure like, how long did it take you to receive a diagnosis after being tested? I am only looking for examples, I realize that everyone probably has a different experience/set of tests.

You might get the AAA (Adult Asperger's Assessment) which includes the AQ and EQ or the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule). You might get the Wechsler Adult Intelligence test which can pick up a spiky profile of abilities.
