Try to diagnose me as an NT.

It work I mentioned that I diagnosed myself has having Aspergers. NTs some how cannot
accept this. I thought to myself if everyone had Asperger Syndrome, what way would I be
different to them. I don't think I can think of anything.

So lets re-diagnose myself back to an NT with a quationars with your help if you want. Here are some
to get started.

(1)Do you dislike for others who openly revel in their own greatness.
(2)Do you have tendency to read grievous personal slights into innocuous remarks or gestures
(3)Do you have a high tendency to lie, in the intention of manipulating the other person.
(4)Do you often have intolerant of seemingly minor differences in others.
(5) Do you have tendency to enjoy small-talk, which include weather, what food your having for dinner etc.
(6) Do you consider yourself an Alfa Male.
(7) Do you have anti intellectual tendencies.
(8) Do you have strong religious convictions.
(9) Have you shown no interest in engineering or computer science.
(10) Have no idea what Unix is.
(11) Tenancy to come to premature conclusions,
(12) Have you never considered logic to be a virtue.
(13) Do you prefer soaps to scifi.
(14) Do you come to conclusion prematurely without the willingness to use logical decomposition.

Loads of those could apply to both Aspies and NTs alike. I am an Aspie yet I am a fervent Christian, have no idea what Unix is, often come to hasty and premature conclusions, and have no interest whatsoever in engineering. Likewise, there are many Aspies who, for all I know, may love watching soap operas or be frequent liars. My ex was an Aspie and he was one of the most untruthful people I have ever met.

Being Aspie or NT is not defined by personality traits or hobbies. Rather, it is all about your brain. I can only see a few in your list that would genuinely mark the difference between Aspie and NT: namely, male Aspies not being Alpha males, being logical thinkers, and disliking small talk. Other than that, they don't seem to have anything to do with diagnostic criteria, and all seem to be things that could apply to anyone at all.

You can be an Aspie Alpha-Male. Think of like...Clint Eastwood.

I am chronically accused of jumping to conclusions by people on that list who do prefer soaps to scifi and wouldn't know a PC from a Mac, let alone Unix

Many of those are asking not if you aspie or NT but whether you are a geek or not.

Being a geek doesn't mean you are an aspie, and being an aspie doesn't mean you're a geek.
