Hi everyone, my granddaughter is 14 years old and I am her legal guardian. She is being evaluated for opwdd. When my granddaughter was little her grandfather died and she receives surviver benifets.
How ever she is now trying to get opwdd, will she lose her benitfits?

I think it stands for "Office for People with Developmental Disabilities".

This is something for which you should seek legal advice. Please don't rely on what you hear on the internet when it comes to something so important! Even if, perchance, you do meet someone who went through something similar, you must take every case in and of itself. I suggest reading up on the legalities of the inheritance, and hiring a lawyer if necessary. Good luck!
