Seriously guys, I'm getting fed up living alongside NT's. They are like f*****g cavemen!
Being aggresive and unlogical in their beheavior. And all that matters to them is how other people view them.

I got this super plan, lets start an all AS colony on Antarctica.
I know this continent is closed off for immigration since it has a lot of ecologic value, but we AS can preserve nature way better than a bunch of NT's.

Imagine like this community of all AS people, and all the benefits. Creativity and ideas can flourish and everything will be in harmony like Utopia.

I know the idea will not get any further than this thread, or even this post. But an all-AS community closed of from NT's is something I always dream about.

1. How would we grow our food?
2. How would we obtain running water and electricity?
3. If it is closed off for ecological value how will we convince them to let us settle there?

Im going to sleep in just a minute but Ill answer this one.

-We grow our own food..easy as that. We need an initial investment to pay for our farming supplies though.

- There are a lot of other colonies on Antarctica who have solved this problem, Im to tired to Google.

-Because we have the smartest and most creative minds on this planet, who wouldn't want them together in a community?

@btbnnyr
Haha, you made me laugh :P

One benefit is that with all the cuddling together to get warm, someone might actually get laid occasionally.

Anyone hear what happened to LeisureLand?

Anyone want to start an autistic-run (which doesn't necessarily mean "EVERYONE MUST HAVE AUTISM!", just autistic-run) intentional community?

Antarctica is too environmentally sensitive for us to have a community there. But I would be all in favor of a AS community anywhere else. Could we take over maybe an area in the US or Europe that is a "brownfield" and restore it to a place that has trees, plants, limited cars, and environmentally sensitive housing and places to grow food and ways for us to earn a living? You might have to discourage large familes but can most of us stand them anyways? I wish some architect or city planner would get on board with a place like this.

Meanwhile, we and other countries should take the abandoned bases and buildings and most of the current facilities and pack them up and ship them back so Antarctica can once again be pristine.

I'd totally be with that! If only I was an architect! I would plan for us to have large windows in most parts of the building, but also some private places where we can meltdown without being seen, if that's safe and what we want. Also, open floor plans. Totally.

Of course, other people might have other ideas, but...I dunno. That's just my imagination running wild, again.

Well, if the current facilities are being used, any use in packing them up? But otherwise, yeah, again. Totally.

Unpossible!

In all seriousness though, Antarctica might not be a good choice due to the extreme climate and various international treaties. However, there are plenty of uninhabited islands in that part of the world that were previously used as whaling centers that might fit the bill. South Georgia island comes to mind. It's where Ernst Shackleton is buried and where he went to seek assistance after he was shipwrecked.

Aliens always live in Antarctica (and the other one).

Makes sense.

Hmm, days or nights are very long there most of the time. And its cold.

Somehow I feel this whole planet is a trap.
I am on my way finding out how to use spiritual means to get out of here.

I admit, I'd love to live in the Antarctic or Arctic circle, but I wouldn't agree to starting a colony in Antarctica. As someone else said, Antarctica is too environmentally sensitive. The most I would agree would be to go to Alaska, Norway, or the north of Russia and experience the Arctic there. It must be so awesome to have so little to no sunlight in the winter, and that cold weather must be wonderful, too!

An island somewhere would be perfect. We could close off channels with the mainland and only allow a ferry to come and go at set times. As long as we get the internet we will be fine.

Most of Antarctica is a frozen desert of rock and ice. Not exactly fertile soil.

I believe that most of the food is shipped in from the main land.

Why is it that whenever the idea of an Aspie Nation comes up, no one ever gets around to considering the details of the financing and logistics behind the idea?
