Anyone have chemical sensitivities?

Mostly from smelling chemicals, but some perfumes (mostly the dark amber colored ones) contain something that gives me burning blisters. Latex does the same thing. Latex-containing ear plugs give me blisters in my ears, and even the ones I found that say they have no "natural" latex make my ears itch.

I'm allergic to parabens, which are found in loads of toiletries and cosmetics (actually most of them). So, I have to buy natural products and have to read the ingredients on them too. My allergy is actually to derivatives of benzoic acid, which includes a group of preservatives found in soft drinks, sauces, preserves, etc.

When it comes to cleaning products I seem to be a bit sensitive. I have light eczema on my hand, but will becomes rather irritated if I use any liquid soaps or shower gel. I also only use soap to wash my face as anything I've tried seems to make my skin worse as well.

I do -I get rashes easily from cleaning products, creams, bubble bath (the 2 times I tried it). Now I only use really plain unscented products. Also I get itchy really easily and can't stand wearing nylons or gloves for too long *shutter*.

Actually and this is a family trait (for my family) and my mom and my very NT sister have this sensitivity too.

I don't wear any jewelry so I don't know for sure but both my parents do not wear their wedding rings because of their skin's reaction to them. I know my mother hasn't worn jewelry in at least 20 years so that would likely be why.

I get sunburnt very easily, and yes, I do think I have reactions to certain things - the medicated soap I use on my face makes my skin dry out, for instance.

I have rosacea, so my skin is super sensitive to everything, even the sun.. I need to wear sunscreen indoors.

I get rashes from some soaps and shampoos
and I cough up copious amounts of mucous if I eat anything with malt vinegar on it.
