Secretin can help symptoms?

I was reading an exerpt from "Loving Mr. Spock" over at Amazon.com and got to the part where the author talked about secretin. Supposedly it lightens or eradicates the symptoms of ASD's.

Anyone heard of it?

Is this more snake-oil?
