Hi,
I'm going to start a thread about how to get the drugs you need prescribed to you in the UK.
This is my story of what I've done and what I plan to do.

I have atypical drug responses and have been on practically every antidepressant and antipsychotic out there with horrific side effects and withdrawal (including psychosis).

I'm currently diagnosed with Asperger's ADHD and schizoaffective disorder( http://www.sentiens.com/Psychosis/Psych ... hosis.html )
even though I have no family history of mental illness and schizoaffective is genetic
( http://www.schizophrenia.com/sznews/arc ... 00663.html
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/20 ... 070437.htm )

The only thing they will prescribe me is more antipsychotics, which I'm not about to start taking.

I've been trying to get Ketamine ( http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/251220.php ) and Adderall XR( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adderall ) prescribed for years with no success, also been trying oxytocin( http://abcnews.go.com/Health/AutismNews ... id=9843745 ) too lately.

I've been self medicating with ketamine for depression and thought problems for years with great success, I was using it even before the research came out and told my psychiatrist and Dr so.

I've also used and am currently using speed (mixed amphetamine salts) to great effect

I've never used oxytocin.

The drugs I am using aren't illegal in the UK under medical necessity since I feel suicidal if I'm not taking them. here's some info on the legallity of medical cannabis in the UK http://www.idmu.co.uk/oldsite/hol8.htm . Bare in mind both ketamine, amphetamine salts and oxytocin are actually medicines where as cannabis is not yet a medicine.

and I should be able to get them prescribed off label.
My medical records say treat symptomatically, which means everything off label since drugs aren't licensed for symptoms only conditions

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Off-label_ ... ed_Kingdom

"Physicians in the United Kingdom can prescribe medications off-label. According to the British General Medical Council, off-label prescriptions must better serve patient needs than alternatives and must be supported by evidence or experience to demonstrate safety and efficacy"

I have both evidence and experience as I've been taking speed and ketamine for years.

http://www.gmc-uk.org/guidance/ethical_ ... faqs.asp#9

also
point 5 of the nuremberg code is:No experiment should be conducted where there is a prior reason to believe that death or disabling injury will occur; except, perhaps, in those experiments where the experimental physicians also serve as subjects. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuremberg_Code
So I can self experiment even if it may cause me harm

more GMC guidelines
20. Relationships based on openness, trust and good communication will enable you to work in partnership with your patients to address their individual needs.
21. To fulfil your role in the doctor-patient partnership you must:
c. treat each patient as an individual
f. encourage patients who have knowledge about their condition to use this when they are making decisions about their care.

That's the opener, next I'll write up what I plan to do

You said you use speed (mixed amphetamine salts) as an alternative to Adderall XR. That sounds quite suspicious, do you trust that the dose is accurate?

So you're taking anti-psychotics, ketamine, amphetamines, oxytocin, and cannabis. That's quite a combination.

I'm also not sure this is the right forum to instruct users how to acquire prescription medication which has not been prescribed. There's a good reason why these drugs are difficult to obtain, because it's possible to abuse them.

The first thing I plan to do is to complain to the NHS

http://www.nhs.uk/choiceintheNHS/Rights ... aints.aspx

Whilst also pursuing treatment with my new GP and psychiatrist.

If the complaint fails I plan to take my case to the equality and human rights commision
http://www.equalityhumanrights.com/abou ... -equality/

and the ombudsman
http://www.ombudsman.org.uk/

and if necessary the GMC

http://www.gmc-uk.org/

I also plan to prepare a defense and go down the nearest police station and snort whatever chemicals off of their front desk so I get arrested.

I need to plan my defense first so that I can mention anything when questioned that I later rely on in court. and so my intent is clear.

I've put some details on the legality of drugs in the UK on my OP.

I buy in bulk

I'm not taking anti-psychotics, oxytocin or cannabis. I only take ketamine on rare occasions.

drugs are easy to obtain, I'm instructing users on how to get the drugs they are currently using prescribed not how to acquire prescription medication which has not been prescribed.

If I wasn't taking the drugs how could I satisfy the condition "and must be supported by evidence or experience to demonstrate safety and efficacy" for off label prescription.

I should have mentioned that there's currently no medication licensed for the treatment of Asperger's

You buy speed in bulk? From where? I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

from my mate. I have to buy in bulk for quality control reasons. (it's also much cheaper)

from the link on cannabis
"While research is underway, police, the courts and other prosecuting authorities should be aware of the medicinal reasons for the unlawful use of cannabis by those suffering from certain medical conditions for whom other drugs have proved ineffective."
" judge held necessity to apply where there is "no alternative way to avoid death or serious injury"....

I've got a much better link detailing some actually court cases on my other PC, unfortunately I don't have my other PC and google failed me.

The Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. This act is intended to prevent the non-medical use of certain drugs.

I wouldn't advise doing any of this in the states, this applies only to the UK, except going through the proper channels.

Well, my initial NHS complaint has been shelved because it was made such a long time ago and there are time limitations of 12 months or 12 months after the problem was discovered to make a complaint and it's been nearly two years since I made my initial complaint.

I have however put together a complaint, covering some of my previous issues, in relation to my hospitalization and the lack of treatment for ADHD and Asperger's syndrome and misdiagnosis along with various other issues relating to my treatment in hospital.

The Governments Home Office maintain that it is a dangerous and harmful drug. Since 2005 cannabis research and medication has developed a little more in the UK

But I'm not using cannabis I'm using amphetamines and ketamine which are already prescription drugs so found not to be dangerous and harmful drugs when prescribed properly.

http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A ... =-AQG2pqjF

It is reported that almost 10% of people with ADHD have attempted suicide within the past 3 years. About 5% die from either suicide or accidental injury. The rate of suicide in the general population of the US is .01%.

http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=BSxw ... es&f=false

Overall it appears that ADHD increases risk of suicide via increasing severity of comorbid conditions
There is some evidence that treatment of ADHD with methylphenidate in the long-term, particularly at higher doses, is associated with fewer suicide attempts and a 3-4 times reduced rate of substance abuse disorder.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adderall
Apart from the FDA-approved indications for the treatment of ADHD and narcolepsy, Adderall has also been used off-label to manage cases of treatment-resistant depression, exogenous obesity, and alternate sleep cycle disorders.[11]

from the wealth of the nations:

The reward of the schoolmaster, in most cases, depends principally, in some cases almost
entirely, upon the fees or honoraries of his scholars. Schools have
no exclusive privileges. In order to obtain the honours of graduation, it is not necessary that a person should bring a certificate of
his having studied a certain number of years at a public school. If,
upon examination, he appears to understand what is taught there,
no questions are asked about the place where he learnt it.

I'm also going to write to my MP to see if I can get his support in some areas.

Mixed amphetamine salts is generic for Adderall. It's not XR, though, unless he buys generic XRs. I know with my whole drama trying out Ritalin, the newest XR, Concerta, is a slightly better XR compared to the older XRs, but Concerta was like $150, and Ritalin was like $4.

As far as the rest of those drugs, I got no idea. In USA, they'd be like "lolno, schedule I, fu" and that'd be it.

Yeah... good luck with that. Then you'll be in prison, on anti-psychotic meds against your will most likely. I've learned the hard way nobody cares, especially people in the courts. It's all a big game. So, definitely do not do that. Protest to the NHS if you'd like, but I doubt they'll care, too, but at least protesting to them is not as idiotic as getting arrested for no reason. Your legal stunt would be written off as you being mentally ill, as only a mentally ill person would bring ketamine to a police station and snort it to get purposely arrested.

Anyway, I deeply distrust pharmaceutical drugs, so I would try not to take like...any of them. Get your nutrition good, make sure your vitamin and mineral intake is correct, hormone levels are correct, then try herbal supplements, then if all that doesn't work, then go for pharmaceutical drugs.

You won't go to prison in the UK, I've already been arrested for taking drugs in public and the police where very good with me.
I am taking the drugs for mental illness, depression, to which I'm treatment resistant. I feel suicidal so I'm desperate. I also have Asperger's which I believe is treated differently in the UK to how it is in the US.
In theory I shouldn't get arrested, in practice most probably I will.

I've tried all that already, I'm 35.
