I know lots of people, but no friends

I know a lot of people, I have more than 700 friends on FB and I have met most of them in person and talked to them. I have no problem with saying hi and having a conversation, but I have no friends!

Dont feel alone. Meeting people is one thing, but making friends is quite difficult. At least making good friends is. You just keep trying and follow up and you might find someone. I only have 3 people I can really call friends and I am not close to 1 of them (we meet like 1 or 2 a year because she is always working).

I'm in the same boat. I even have over 300 Twitter followers, but maybe talk to 5 of them. In regards to social media, most people add others to add to their numbers, even if that person is just an acquaintance. My best friend is my husband. The few other friends I have are family members, and even then its very superficial. Nothing in depth. I would love to have even just one female friend (other than my mom or sister-in-law) to do things with, but I haven't had one since high school (13 years now).

I have a lot of 'friends' but have always noticed i didn't share the same bond that my friends did with others. My friendships have always been just fine and i've have never been jealous of not being someone elses 'best friend' since i know i don't have the characteristics most NTs desire in a best friend.

That was convoluted, i hope you know what i mean.

I know quite a lot of people however don't have any friends though.

Chrissy is my only friend, but I have 140+ facebook friends. The only ones I don't know are distant relatives.
