I crossed off all the ones for kids which was most of them since I am 23 and went to the websites of the others, some seemed potentially helpful and some didn't at all so I saved the ones that did seem helpful in my favorites folder or whatever...so I will look more into those later if the psychologist thinks that wasn't enough effort well screw that, even that was exhausting.

Yeah I am apparently suppose to try and get a formal AS or Autism spectrum diagnoses, the trouble is figuring out where and how to afford it. At this rate I will have no way to get on SSI since I cannot afford the formal diagnoses, but maybe some of those sites will be helpful...this is just getting to be costly and my dads homeless so he can't afford to give me much money, my mom says she can't afford to but does want to help with medical costs I imagine there is a limit to that though and I have no other way to get income I can think of.

So yeah does anyone else find it frustrating trying to get a proper assessment.

There's no free health insurance for low-income people where you live? No clinics who can refer you somewhere? No salvation army, churches with licensed health care professionals, nothing?

Congrats on the effort you made! That is awesome, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I would email or call to contact the places you bookmarked and write down anything they say that seems helpful to see if you can meet with a case worker who can answer all your questions about resources. They know that people with disabilities don't always have jobs or incomes so they will be able to work with you.
