Whenever I post to WP, I feel unusual excitement and joy. I'm always super happy to get replies, because It shows me that there are people in the world who are interested in what I have to say. Unfortunately, in the real world, it doesn't feel like anyone would be interested in what I hac to say. I hardly ever talk, and when I'm in a situation where I want to talk, I'm always discouraged by many factors, and one of them is the thought that no one is interested.

Does anyone else get excitement from posting on WP?

Good for you that you are feeling so excited when you post here. That is the right mentality.

I joined this forum because I had the illusion that I actually had something good to give to others with aspergers.
I know better now. I'm just logging in to unload and most of the time I don't even care if I get a response or not. Don't let me spoil your innocent joy and keep the excitement going fuelred!

Not really. I feel somewhat bored by the place these days.

The stuff I post on here is stuff people usually find weird or tell me not to say, or wonder why I think like that. I like having a place I can ask stupid questions without feeling judged. I feel the same as you :)

I feel that this place has seen better days. That's just me. I felt that excitement when I first joined in 2004. I felt it again in 2009, when the real me emerged again.

Well, posting here generates better conversation than in the real world. Although, it would be nice if NTs actually were interested in my interests.

What are you doing here if this forum bores you so much? 8O

You must have things to do that are far more important than being on this forum "these days" Tequila.
So go and do them and stop boring us.

Now please!!

I used to feel that way, twas nice while it lasted. It is clear now, those times are over for me. I am glad that you, fuelred, have found a place to connect with others and feel good about yourself though. That's always nice to have in life.

I do. I love posting on threads that I think are interesting, even if I don't have much to contribute, and I love reading the other posters replies. I like that I feel I can relate to a lot of what some of the other posters say. But I usually get sad when a thread I like dies, I just want it to keep on going.

Why the hostility?

I still pop in occasionally, much like I do some other forums. I try not to be here all day. The same topics seem to keep coming up, but when new ones/ones that interest me happen, I'll respond.

I do, but my social life isn't what it should be.

And don't worry, I've been doing lots of other things too - like meeting Aspies in real life (and having a wonderful time doing it), much like I did yesterday.

I don't really care about the overall state of this forum. As long as people are posting, I am happy. I find this forum to be amazing no matter what, and I enjoy posting.

I don't like cornflakes.
