I've just spent the morning unable to speak more than one-syllable replies to my wife's questions. She was getting frustrated and starting to get angry with my lack of communication.

So I came online, searched "non-verbal", and showed her the results. Now she understands! Sweet!

Cool. But don't make the mistake of thinking that's all there is too it. You've just made the first step. It's a looong journey. There's a LOT more to understand. Buckle up and prepare yourself. For a lot of us, it's great to find an "explanation" but a whole other thing to wrap your head around all the implications. Lot's of ups, downs, bumps and potholes ahead, so get ready. It could be a rough ride, but it's worth it.
