Explain then the absorption of AS into ASD in DSM-V by psychiatrists.

After DSM-V goes into effect, AS will not be a separate diagnosis.

I would agree in general that psychiatry is about money and having power over people, but I don't think AS itself is a conspiracy. After all, you can't treat it with drugs, so it would make more sense to label someone as OCD, schizophrenic or depressed, then they could be medicated.

not just psychiatry. The great thing about Autism is that there are so many different things people are encouraged to try out as therapy. That creates a whole new kind of product and service line. It's like "Green" products. It helps out our economy and makes people feel like their being paid attention to: they get sympathy for their life pain and they create jobs for other people.

Not only drugs can selling,they can selling "service" and "social skill training".And in their theory,AS could not be cure,so they can sell those forever.And their target: those people have no friends are easy targets.

They can interpreted as whatever they like,like say hello is repetitive interests.

It's odd, people think just because there wasn't a label, it must mean said people who it fits were just moping along like the rest of humanity and didn't need help.

A point: did you know that most people with AS were actually diagnosed with Schizophrenia before AS became a standard label (it was called "Simple Schizophrenia" back then)?

It's about help, and if people can earn some money by helping others, then it helps both sides.

Here is where your theory falls apart:

Where is THE "treatment" being marketed to autistics?

Where is "THE medication" that either promises to cure or at least alleviate the symtoms of autism?

There is no treatment, and there are no meds that are target marketed directly to autistics. All treatments and meds used to treat autistics are targeted to specific symptoms that are not specifically autistic to begin with.

If this is a conspiracy, it's the worst one anyone has ever devised. It is a failure as a conspiracy because the very criteria for autism are so convoluted and difficult to understand, nobody has come up with a single therapeutic treatment that can rightly be claimed to "treat autism."

No treatment targeting autism specifically = no conspiracy.

This bears mentioning too:

If this is a conspiracy, explain why so many professionals WON'T diagnose it, and why so many who actually ARE on the spectrum have to go through several doctors before we ARE diagnosed.

It doesn't add up.

Because the logic you're presenting looks an awful lot like similar logic used by many others who pop into WP who are eventually exposed as being here for the sole purpose of "debunking" the existence of high functioning autism.

I am not (yet) saying that is why you are here. I'm just trying to explain why you got that question from Surfman. Are you really here to learn about us and autism, or are you here with your mind already made up that it's all a bunch of hooey?

I hope it is the former and not the latter.

If it is the former, you might want to try starting out by asking more questions than making statements. If it is the latter, good luck with that here. It's been tried many times, and it always fails in the end.
