...and, it was AWESOME! :)

I formally met this lovely kid called Rocky, today; I sat at a table with him and his helper, and we talked.

For once in my life I did not feel any social pressure; I didn't have to make eye contact with him, and I felt I could 'be myself' around him.

...can anyone relate to this feeling, when they've met other people on the spectrum?

Sadly I have never met anyone on the spectrum face to face, but I can imagine it would be cool, considering how at ease I am here. I could see things going well the day I meet a fellow Aspie.

I had the same experience a couple of weeks ago. I remember thinking: "Wow, THAT'S what empathy feels like! Now I know for sure I never felt this before"

And it was amazing.

Oh, it's just what they call their specialist Autism (Spectrum Disorder) centre; it facilities like sensory rooms and special lighting. That is also the place where they have some of their classes.
