I think the thing to consider is that most of the tests only show if you are someone who is worth considering for a full diagnosis - they can never tell you you are an aspie since, as you say, there can be other reasons to score highly. Saying that, I took most of them going and almost every single one scored me highly into aspie territory. That, together with reading a lot of what is written about AS, the DSM, and many personal accounts, convince me that I must be on the spectrum somewhere. Getting a diagnosis soon (cant come soon enough now) so I will be able to fully accpet what I already strongly believe.
