Usually I don't get obsessed over people, but sometimes I do. I get obsessed over a person regardless their gender, sexual orientation, skin colour, etc. When this happens, I try to find out as many things as possible about that person, even without interacting with him/her. I see that person I'm obsessed over as a "reference point", meaning that if that person isn't there, I'll probably feel lost. For example, my best friend is my "reference point" at school, and if she isn't there I feel lost and upset. Or, when I do karate, my "reference point" is the senpai, and again, if he isn't there I feel a bit confused. The sad thing about this is that people think that I'm a stalker. Do this happen to you, too?

I need a person as a "reference point" in situations.
When there is a family event, it is usually my brother, I kind of follow him everywhere.
Lately I had a couple days of therapy in a group and I did not know anyone but the therapist and I in a way "stucked" to him and also when we were having dinner I had to sit next to him every day, otherwise I mute completely and get too much overloaded.
