Social exhaustion
Page 1 of 1 [ 1 post ]
I'm currently in Wilton, CT with my NT fiancee and her dad's family. And man, I am absolutely exhausted. I haven't wanted to be rude, but I've been dying all night to get away from the socializing in the dining room and be able to listen to music or read or *something* other than try to navigate conversations about people I don't know.
How do some of you politely excuse yourself from these sorts of things? I'm really worried about offending everyone, but this non-stop social situation is absolute murder and I just want to get out of here and go home where I don't have to worry about making sure I'm faking eye contact.
