If they don't let you, try holding on to the cart?

That's pretty much what I did today. It totally worked! I was a little frustrated, because I wanted to wander around and look at things, but I tried to just mess around with things around my reach and stuff. They seemed pretty happy with me being more there, so I am glad!

My mother often wanders away from me during shopping trips. One second she's next to me, the next she's gone, and I have to look for her head above the clothes racks in all directions.
