Coulrophobic...anyone?

I have this fear, and its very extreme.

People often laugh about it, but to me, its nearly horrific.

Clowns absolutely scare the bejeebus out of me.

Dogs scare me. I go out of my way and cross the street when I see them coming up the road. Even if they're on leashes I'm still cautious.

I don't have phobia of them, they are just extremely creepy.

John Wayne Gacy dressed up like a clown.

The fact this happened doesnt help my phobia in any positive way.

Nope, definitely not the case here. I'm fine with clowns, when their circus acts are well made, I even think they're funny.

I am scared - and this is dead serious - of organ grinders and monkey with the little hats and vests. I don't know if it falls in the "clowns" realm? I don't know why, where, or how this happened - I am just very afraid. I love animals, I love apes and chimps and other sorts of monkeys - but these devious little guys scare the same as OP out of me.
