how to reduce socialisation exaustion ?

A question,
Inconstant companions – how may I reduce the exhaustion induced by conversing with someone that isn't a routine acquaintance (lasting more than 1 minute but less than 1 hour) ?
I am already aware of controlling my situation/surroundings to reduce extraneous sources of stimulation but the effort of figuring out a new person is still taking a big toll, any help welcome.
