when i think of aspies and NTs, i think of Pocahantas

The movie pocahantas. whites viewed natives as savages, which is a common belief, but little did they know that natives had the same opinion regarding white. aspies are labeled as ret*ds, freaks etc. by a lot of NTs, bbut there are tons of aspies who view the sme thing about those same NTs. in fact i can even imagine the song "Savages" playing between NTs and aspies where boh sides views the the other as being inferior and savages. i dont have time to list all the similarities, but i can imagine the relationship between NTs and aspies similar to the white vs native american relationship, where both sides hate each other initially due to xenophobic beliefs, then an open minded NT (represents Smith) meets an aspie (represents pocahantas) and develop a friendship. due to a misunderstanding where the NT is captured the NTs prepare for war and start calling them ret*ds and other filthy slurs and the aspies do the same thing, similar to the song savages:

i mean pocahantas is an allegory of the xenophobia that exists between 2 different groups of people, and tons of NTs think of aspies as being ret*d, unaware that those same aspies have their own website where we constantly bash them as well.

I'm too sleepy to type now, so this post will probably be extremely short... Yes, I think that many Aspie vs NT conflicts arise when the NT's POV is that autism is a disorder that must be cured whereas the Aspie's POV is that autism is just an alternative (but legitimate) way of navigating the world. Personally, I think that most Aspie vs NT conflicts can be summarized as clashes between two cultures that share more differences than similarities.
