For cognitive difficulties such as executive functioning(organising and planning) and dyspraxia traits in general. Or for ASD/NVLD symptoms in general.

No, I haven't tried Omega-3 for those but about a year ago or so, I did try it for something else (which had no effect for me). I noticed no difference in any of the symptoms you mention.
That's not to say it might not be worth looking into though, you might experience it different than I did.

As in Omega 3 Fatty Acid??? Yes. I take it as a supplement. When it was recommended to me by my Dr. she explained that it is a good fat for the brain. Suppose to help "fogginess". As it was explained to me, the brain needs certain types of good fat (omega 3 being one of them) if it does not have "good" fats (Poly and Mono Unsaturated fats) it will take what ever is available. It is the use of these bad fats that hinder brain function.

I use a cold pressed fish oil called Nordic Naturals. You can find it in your local vitamin shop or health food store.

I figure, if I'm going to spend money on Omega 3,
instead of buying supplements,
I'll go out and eat sushi ... salmon, tuna ...
or open and enjoy a can of sardines.
Eggs, spinach, broccoli, kale, and olive oil are good too.

As for the effects of Omega 3,
sushi seems to help me with things like
headache relief and joint pain relief.

(Also for the joint pain, I think eating liver helps, for me anyways.)

Used Omega3 at like 4800mg daily for over a year and didn't notice any benefits neurlogically. It did however have a slight but noticeable benefit for my arthritis, that is about it.

I use omega-3 fatty acid supplements daily, in the form of fish oil and chia seeds. I use them for their antiinflammatory property - I have arthritis, plus they reduce my chronic gut irritability from my ASD. I think they help my brain health as well because when I've stopped taking them I seem to get more irritable and my concentration is not as good.

Fish oil helps calm my moods and helps me deal with stress in my life much better, although I have not witnessed any bigger executive functioning/organizational benefits (although I would have loved to have seen some!)

Overall, I am happy taking the fish supplements -- I don't really notice the benefit of them while taking them, but if I stop for a week, I definitely notice the difference in my emotional state. I also do b 12 shots (hydroxocobalamin) and these have really been the biggest help to my wellness, but nothing has really made me more organized or on top of my work.

Is this the same as brain octane oil (derived from coconut oil)?
