(I already posted this in the Literature section, but only got one reply. So I'll try here again.)
Do you think the world might need more Aspie biographies, or do we have enough?
Because I consider writing my own biography with main focus on the Aspie aspects. To help others, who might not be diagnosed yet and desperately seek to understand themselves, mainly women (I myself think that the main cause I was not diagnosed earlier is that I am not male, and I finally discovered Asperger's in an autistic guy's biography myself). But also as a kind of "therapy", to write down all that has caused me pain during the dark time when I did not know what was "wrong" with me, and maybe arrive at a more positive attitude concerning my future. And, last but not least, as an entry to write again and - hopefully - get something published, as I have several other book ideas in my head, but haven't actually been writing for a long time and feel like it might be easier to start with something more factual, something I already know.
What do you think? So far I have only read "Pretending to be normal", which has some good aspects, but I find it lacking in a few points.
