I've come across something interesting, after I had my partner complete the 'Aspie Quiz', as she has a fair complement of Aspie traits, as well as certain NT traits. I understood that the quiz accounts for the full spectrum from 100% NT to 100% autistic, therefore I was very surprised by the results. We even worked together trying to get the quiz not to reject her answers by changing certain ones (within the realms of honesty), however the quiz continues to produce no results, because apparently 'there are too many inconsistencies in the control question answers', or some such.

However, it stands to reason that as these answers are honest, they cannot be inconsistent, because they describe a real person (my partner) accurately.

She took the AQ, EQ and RQ tests to clarify, she scored high AQ (40), high EQ (39) and borderline RQ (15). This is indeed contradictory.

Can anyone, particularly if there are any practitioners reading this, help explain what these results might mean?

Thanks.

NT doesn't describe anything, there are thrillions of ways to describe a person.

I'm confused. What are you asking? Are you asking if it's possible to have autistic traits but not be on the spectrum? If so, yes.

I would say that "atypically nonautistic" would fill the bill.

It means those quizzes don't mean anything.
