Same crown came off. Likely, I must go back to that "Cattle Car" clinic which is so noisy & distracting. I dread it. I already tried to go to a private little dental practice only to be turned away. Under the impression I only wanted pain medication. Well, I did need something ( my gums & jaw had an infection & it HURT) as my normal meds for arthritis were proving useless. I also needed an anti-biotic. Guy took X-rays & examined my mouth & then Bum-Rushed me out the door! ( at least with no charge)
Besides my obvious distaste for the "Brand Name" clinic, they think I owe them money I already paid! Seriously.
Not only am I worried over sensory overload ( I discussed this last year) but jaw pain makes me much more likely to have a melt-down.
Any suggestions?

Sincerely,
Matthew

See if you can find a doctor to put you under (knock you out) prior to dental work being done. I need to this as well. I can't deal with sensations of things (it's not pain so their novacaine doesn't help and they just want to give me novacaine).

They are special dentists called sedation dentists

This clinic that did the crown is supposed to have that, but when I had the Root Canal done, they sent me to another place. Never seen them use the sedation option. However, my jaw muscles are very over-developed so I need this just to get my mouth open wide. Plus, so much noise & movement I would have not gone under even with ether/chloroform!
