I get told that I act brain damaged or like a robot and that my movements and speech are mechanical whatever that's supposed to mean.

I don't normally look like a robot but when I'm very depressed I notice I look like I'm either a zombie or possessed. I noticed my reflection in the glass on the bus the other day and it was just creepy. I really do look like I'm possessed and possibly about to attack someone. I'm not but that's what I look like in certain moods.

Normally I don't look like a robot, zombie, or possessed person it's just when I get into my empty despairing unfriendly depressed mode. I usually appear perfectly normal.

YES
That's me.
In fact, years before understanding what ASD was, I used to compare myself to a robot.
I said a lot of jokes about that, and people around me told me that... YES, I was like a robot in many aspects.
I wasn't inclined to express my emotions.

Theres robots, and there's robots, sure people are going to laugh if you sway from side to side like a robot from Dan Dare, but sometimes I purposely try and walk like the robot from Westworld, walking really fast whilst keeping my torso and head completely still bar the forward motion.

WESTWORLD CLIP

Looks way more advanced than some of those NTs that walk like monkeys with their heads weaving from side to side.

I pretty much walk like a robot, and my blank facial expression looks very depressed and zombie-like, even if that's not what I'm feeling. I probably weird people out because when I'm not staring into space like the undead, I'm muttering to myself or smiling at my own personal jokes.

When I was a young kid I was laughed off the T-ball team because I ran like a robot. To me it was how I was supposed to run, with my arms and hands pointing straight down towards the ground. I didn't understand why everyone else would run with their fists pointing in the direction of run, that to me made no sense.
