Manipulative female plays victim and hates another female. She plays a man like a fiddle and pretends to be victimized by this other female but the other female did nothing to her. Man feels need to help poor fake victimized lady. Underneath it all he's really helping her bully a woman she feels threatened by. Anyone else experienced this? man or woman?

I wish people would stop believing everything that comes out of one person's mouth and defend what was heard over actions that prove otherwise....aka slander.

Some men do cow to the controlling side of certain women, not only in this area but in all areas. It's because they are not confident in their own abilities to get a girlfriend or to keep one around. I think some men tend to be insecure about their manhood.

A man who doesn't conform to the expectations of women and refuses to play the gentleman game is either going to be wildly successful with women or alone for life. Many men, unfortunately, fear that they will land in the latter category rather than the former.

Seriously dudes stop it, or atleast move this to a subboard.

This is about manipulative people using other people there seems to be a good bit of evidence that this happens on both sides of the line.

I am usually on the receiving end of the bullying and slander. Hence why I am becoming more and more reclusive.

they do such things because they enjoy the feeling of being in favor of women, mostly because it keeps their options open for sexual encounters if the woman is or becomes available for such an opportunity.

Seems to me like the man's being played for a fool in your original scenario.

Culturally there's a lot of ideas floating around about how men ought to protect women--which is cool, I guess, but it leaves out how women can protect men, too. Traditionally it made a lot more difference than men are stronger--not so much now, what with the availability of lawsuits and (if things get really bad) guns. Of course women have always protected men by waging the information war in the circles of gossip and reputation. Well, it changes with the culture, but that's the way it often is.

There are many kind-hearted men who still buy into the idea that men should protect women, rather than simply people protecting each other, mostly because it gives them an opportunity to do something they feel good about. To be someone else's rescuer makes people feel strong and heroic, and that's a good feeling even if it does come from a silly cultural cliche. Men feel more pressure in that respect than women. (Though, women feel more pressure to be caretakers, even when it takes much more resources than they've got, so maybe we're even when it comes to unrealistic expectations in that area. I figure eventually we're just going to realize that everybody can rescue and/or take care of everybody else, and gender doesn't really have to play into it; nor should it make the other person indebted to you or implicitly inferior to you.)

But that's beside the point. A woman without a conscience could probably take advantage of a man's tendency to want to come to people's rescue--maybe even by implying that she'd want to date him if he did so. Though--I hope she doesn't go out with him after all, because she sounds like someone you'd want to steer way clear of. Ironically, she's using the idea of the male as "strong rescuer" to capture power for herself--but in such a way that I couldn't condone it no matter how much I want gender equality. Such an immature person isn't ready for a relationship.

There is a protective instinct that kicks in, if there is an emotional component involved. Obviously this is coming from a female vs male perspective, but if you mess with my kids or anyone I feel close to I will go into attack mode. The last fistfight I was in (many years ago) was about someone picking on my best friend at the time. I would guess this would be something similar, but unfortunately there's a good probability there's manipulation involved by the women.

Some men love to show off how manly they are, not realizing it looks stupid to some. Some women are good at taking advantage of those men.

I think it's best to avoid those men and women if you can detect those traits in them.

I tend to try to be the opposite because gender equality is very important to me in even the slightest way. Sometimes that earns me disfavor.

Regardless of gender, in any situation, I try not to simply believe what some people say, particularly if it's a slander, because it often is biased. I tend to feel like defending the one that is accused of bad behavior by the "victim".

Exactly, and this is why femism was so succesfull to throw the multimillenia old so-called patriarcal system down in about one generation. And this is why feminism will continu cash in for century to come... This also show to some extend how NT communication work, according to this blog post (in french if you can read it).

Same. Don't worry though, they usually end up in a similar situation and they can't handle it.

It's usually the ones who stand alone that gets stuff done and it's usually the cliquish hens that try to destroy women who have the security to stand alone. Then those cluckers reap the rewards and continue acting like cluckers.

This video is long, but it explains a very good idea of why a lot of this stuff is:
YouTube - Feminism and the Disposable Male

Hmm based on what I've seen it has nothing to do with feminism but more about being an insecure woman.

Could you explain further how in detail this should work? I would love it, if I could manage that my partner would do the fighting with my mother in law, about senseless stuff like my outfits and such nonsense. ^^

Most strains of feminism do not actually involve an ideology that supports men being expendable, and feminism is not about exploiting chivalrous attitudes.
