"Don't take things too personally"

Some people like to joke around & mean what they're saying to be funny but those of us on the spectrum can have a hard time knowing when others are joking so they add Don't Take It Personalty after. Others sometimes think it's important the person knows/is aware of a bad aspect of themselves or something they've done/do but they want the person to work on it/figure out how to work with it instead of feeling bad about themselves.
