When I was in first grade I remember sitting in the lunch room for awhile eating lunch, but after I threw my trash and everything away and sat back down everything goes completely blank. The next thing I remember is lifting my head off the table with a loud laugh. Odd considering I have no memory of laying my head on the table either then or now and I still don't know what the laugh was about. The strangest thing of all though was that there was no one else there. My entire grade had left and a new one was starting to file in. Of course I panicked and ran out of the cafeteria to the playground since we always had recess after lunch. By the time I took my usual spot under the slide and had just started drawing in the sand it was time to go back inside. That means that there was close to an hour's time where I was sitting at that lunch table completely alone and apparently out of it but not one of the dozen adults in there with me noticed.

For some reason this event has always puzzled me. I've just chalked it up to a case of missing time or disassociation but still it's a little disturbing to me for reasons I'm not exactly sure why. Just out of curiosity has any of you guys experienced something similar?

I've lost time before. Sometimes it's linked to something really upsetting happening and sometimes it's just random. It hasn't happened in a while so I don't really worry about it but when I was a kid and teenager it happened kind of frequently. In retrospect, I might have been having seizures.
