My wife sings in the choir, which means I have to go with her to church. So far, I have been wearing 'khaki' colored jeans made by Levis. They look like dress pants. I know if I am made to go to a wedding or a funeral, I am going to have to wear something like a suit. I hate starch or as I call them "crispy" clothes. I was wondering, is there a place people with Aspergers can shop online?

Yes.. it's called "the internet." We're allowed to shop anywhere everyone else is.

As for finding pants that you like, it's best done in person in a store so you can feel the fabric and try them on. Once you find exactly what you like, it's pretty easy to go online and buy more of the same for typically a lower price.

I've purchased lots of clothes on Ebay--shopping in stores is rarely an option--as a short middle aged guy they rarely have anything in my size. Good luck trying to find pants in a men's store with a 28 inch waist! Look for sellers who measure the clothes they sell.

Wear a silk suit or something that looks feels like silk. It's like wearing a cloud. Most if not all of my dress stuff is silk or silk like material. Especially dress shirts.

I have a suit that has a polyester type of fabric as the insides and it feels pretty nice, sort of silky. I can't stand long sleeves or rough fabrics, so I tend to wear t-shirts and buy jackets with that sort of fabric on the inside, luckily it is pretty common in the US at least.

I don't think it is inappropriate to go to church in corduroys and a nice sweater.
