I went on anonymous on a site and asked if they knew what Asperger's was.

They thought it was a band.

Not sure what the purpose of that was, but it's kinda funny to me

In a way, we are a band. A band of Aspie brothers and sisters. The NTs are the audience. They are an unappreciative audience.

One day, we will play to a sold out house.

Thought for the day. :D

That's an interesting way of thinking about it. I like.

Definitely unappreciative, most people don't seem to find it fun when I can't tell what their mouthing and gestures mean...

Adhd folks put on a better show because they tend to be the thrill seekers and daredevils.

In a few more years some band probably is going to adopt that as their name. 8)

It's okay, I gave a speech to my class about autism, and one of the students assigned to my evaluation put under, "What was the speaker's thesis?" 'To clear up misconceptions about two common illnesses.' Apparently I didn't do an especially good job portraying the fact that we aren't sick, that what we have isn't an "illness". Whatever, I found it ironically amusing after I got done being frustrated with it.

 Oh, what a fun comorbid it is to have, indeed.. I've done some exhilarating things in my life to date, several of which could have killed me. I'm a lot more calm and calculating about the fun things I do these days, though, vs. impulsive w/ far too high of risk tolerance.
