Are you unable to pee in a public restroom?

This is another lame "is it just me?" / "you too?" kind of question. It's mainly directed at men using urinals in public restrooms. I have never been able to walk up to one of those things and use it, unless the restroom was completely empty. And even then I sometimes can't do it for for fear of someone barging in.

I always have to use a stall and I have to be seated. And a lot of the time if there are people in the restroom, I have to plug my ears so I don't hear them. And even then I sometimes have trouble releasing. This is something that used to bug me a lot more when I was younger.

It's not shyness. I could care less if some dude sees my dingle in a public restroom. It's a matter of being too tense to relax those muscles to be able to release myself. It's like I feel like I'm leaving myself vulnerable for attack or something. Not that I expect to get attacked. It's like some sort of primal instinct or whatever. I mean anytime you pee standing up, either at a urinal or in a stall, your back is to everyone in there.

Anyways, it's fun to have a place where you can talk candidly about your goofy quirks and be understood rather than ridiculed :D

I've found a solution since posting in one of those threads, and it doesn't interfere with "the flow" of tasks or special interests, as well as providing awesome body sensory pressure :D
