Dear Interested Participants,

My name is Alex Petrou and I study Psychology at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. I am looking for participants with High-functioning autism or Asperger’s syndrome who are native-English speakers and over the age of 18 years to take part in a study that I’m doing. I am looking into enhanced discrimination of basic stimuli and the link to language processing across the autism spectrum.

I'm particularly looking for participants in and around the Edinburgh area. Some tasks will be computer-based and some will be language-based. It shouldn’t take more than 3 hours to complete and it can be done in a couple of sessions if preferred.

I am hoping to get some volunteers to take part from the start of July 2013 onwards. I will also be offering £15 for your participation on completion.

If you are interested, please don’t hesitate to contact me on amp12@hw.ac.uk and I will gladly provide you with full details of the project and what it entails.

Many thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Alex

I'm in a different continent from Edinburgh, but if you have any way for me to participate, I'd be glad to.
