How do you cope with the symptoms of insomnia. Are there any ways to help it without medication?

Herbalism helps me out a lot. Tea to wake up faster in the morning, Chamomile, Catnip, Eleuthera, Kava, Valerian and melatonin to fall asleep (keep in mind it's a bad idea combining these). None of those are particularly risky, and all are plant derived, except you'd want to avoid taking melatonin, Kava or Valerian too often or with alcohol.

If you'll excuse me it's time for a post-midnight snack!

Good question. I can't sleep without a couple of Benadryl and at least .25mg Xanax.

I'd like to go the Melatonin/Valerian/Tryptophan/Chamomile route instead.
