I am from upstate New York(over an hour north of NYC, however it considered downstate to those from Buffalo, I guess it is all relative then lol), and my therapist told me about meeting this author at a festival in a near by town and he recommended his book. This man is in his late 30s and has Aspergers. I am 22 and struggling with AS at the moment, I have been searching for a book like this since I was 13, most books about AS are written by those who STUDY it(like my therapist) not those who actually HAVE and struggle with it. I just ordered the book from Amazon, I will follow up with a review when I finish it. But he is still an interesting person to look up on the internet, I think it is pretty cool that a person like us is able to author a book and let the world know about our life, I support him.

Yes. I've heard of him. And for those interested, here is a site called Parentbooks which has a section called "Autism Memoirs and Personal Stories." It lists 50+ books about folks on the spectrum.
