i think they can be easily mistaken as trolls sometimes unfortunately because they don't know the effect they have on other people

When I was 13, I was a naive spammer who tried being friendly but failed. I never really meant any actual harm and worse yet, I was on some board that was chock full of NTs. Now i'm older and more mature and I don't pull that crap anymore.

It depends on who. Some aspies will make good trolls and others will not. Those aspies that do not usually have a high affinity for rules and regulations.

I have been known to troll before. Not by habit, and not on a regular basis, but certainly have been known to.

Hmm, I have thought about this. Is it possible to sometimes suffer from mind-blindness even on the internet? In a more interactive environment, say a chatroom or a person controlling an avatar in a game..

I used to be considered an Internet troll at a forum I went to. I became the most infamous person at the forum. Some of my trolling was intentional and some of it was unintentional.

And yes, it is possible to suffer from mind-blindness on the Internet. I've done it before.

Trolls try to provoke responses, don't they?

I tend to KILL message board threads.

I recently became aware that some people who I think of as, well, extra-NT, feel like I'm trying to "take over" conversations when I get really excited and make a long or in-depth post. And I've had dyslexics claim they find my writing unreadable.

The board I trolled was full of ultra-NTs though, so I feel justified in trolling it. They're some of the most closed-minded people I've seen in my life - they refused to accept any new people or anyone different from them into their little Internet clique.

Explain what an internet troll is.

Not really.

I find the concept of the way they troll stupid. It's antagonizing.
