This forum is for posting how-to guides and articles to help other aspies cope in life. All topics created in this forum should be articles. Feel free to comment on other articles, but only create a new topic if you have a guide that's at least 4 paragraphs long, preferably more.

The best guides will be chosen and featured on the front page. This is an amazing chance for an aspiring writer or reporter to get a lot of exposure!! !

Nice idea! I'll be checking this a lot to see what there is.

*wonders how long it will be before an article dealing with interviews is put up*

What would be considered an article?

gray area question: how about electronic books?

for example a book I think could help people, and you know, there are times when people just don't have the $, for example students.

This should be very helpful, Alex. Oh my gosh stellar idea.

I'd like to see a guide to being 'yourself' within a world of conformists and negative feedbackers. ie 'how to just be YOU'. Something like 'why it is ok to be constitutionally correct in a world of conflicting social mores." something like that.

I'd also like to see something more, along the lines of ACCESSING SERVICES-the easy guide to simple living in a complex world. ie: why and when to have a lawyer, counselor, doctor, teacher ect and how to use them "Social Working the Social Services-How to be heard by the policeman, listened to by the doctor, backed up by the lawyer-when denied simple services based upon mislabeling" "How to not be mispercieved by your safety net" (I'm In the process of finding the framework of this myself) These latter are probably more for late diagnosers; adults; isolated HFA's. But if anybody is looking for ideas....

maybe I'll get over myself long enough to write my view
I'm always writing and solving so much in my head that I never get anything written down.
