Seizure disorder
I've got a young friend who is experiencing tonic/clonic seizures. She's been to the hospital numerous times & they aren't coming up w/a Dx. They've ruled out epilepsy, even tho' the photosensitive testing produced some odd brain wave patterns, apparently they weren't 'typical' for photosensitive epilepsy. She's getting frustrated by the lack of movement in treating the seizures, so we're doing some research of our own.
She has discovered the dark yellow/orange Irlen overlays are helpful for reading, so I'm wondering still about the photosensitivity.
What is your experience w/seizures, testing, & treatment?
Any & all input welcome. Cogent questions, similar experiences, etc., too.
Thanks!
