does anyone have trouble specifying what they want, e.g. if you are going to the hairdressers or if your parents are going shopping and they ask you what you would like.

all i can ever come out with is that i want something interesting, i dont even think about the fact that they have no idea what interesting means in terms of food or hairsyle, but i can never specify and trying to do just makes me frustrated.

anyone else have this issue. :)

Is it a problem finding the words, or a problem with imagining something specific that you would like?

I have problems with both.

When I know exactly what want I often forget the name for it. Or, if it doesn't have a name -- like with haircuts or objects like "shirt" -- I can't get the words for they type of haircut or shirt that's in my mind.

I often just go blank when people say things like, "I'm going to the store, is there anything you would like?" The word "anything" could be attached to an infinite number of things, so my brain attaches it to nothing and my mind goes blank.

Yes. I'm very indecisive.

With haircut, luckily I have a hairdresser who has been cutting my hair for many years. He just cuts my hair in the same way every time I go there.

With other things, such as which restaurant to go to, if I'm asked what I prefer, I can only say "whatever you like".
