I'd say yes. Actually i wouldn't be surprised if many of the american idol rejects had AS or something else.

He exhibits some traits, but I can't see an Aspie going on a show to do something like that.

Of course I can't tell for sure but he may have it. I hope I don't look that bad!

I stopped watching 'Idol' but have seen in passing that it's become meaner.

Just today I read this from old acquaintance and AS advocate Bill Stillman: he agrees the show has upped the cruelty and may even be targeting people like this for laughs and ratings.

Ya, I was pretty sure he was Aspie when I was watching that show. Poor guy, though, that Simon, I think it was, called him "weird," after he left the room. :?

I personally doubt any Aspie in their right mind would ever go on a show like that. Socially-awkward does not necessarily equate to Aspergers. There could be a number of other things going on. My 2 cents.
