Mature: getting a BA in Criminal Justice love learning about killers and can get into some gruesome detail. Excited by it and talking about it like a kid in a candy store!

immature: Excited to go to the toy store Toysrus nearing age 28 myself. While everyone around me older sister 31,youngers 11,13 and even 6yr. old nephew don't see me as an "adult" It's depressing!! ! I carried my clothes in on my arm (Hung the hangers on my arm wrist-elbow and that was "goofy" and to get excited about this IMO "trick" vs. carrying 2-3 at a time I can carry 6+ inside at a time. :-(

The fact that my older/younger sisters + nephew don't see me as an adult is depressing to me. :-(

Can anyone relate to this? Thank You.

It looks like the only problem is other people. It's fun to be immature as long as you are not hurting anyone. I once talked for half an hour or more about the teletubbies but not too many people approve.

It sounds like you care too much about what others think. No assumptions being made here, but I will ask if that makes you feel any self-doubt?

Don't worry about what other people think. Just be yourself. Justkillingtime is right. As long as you are not hurting anybody, you can be immature as much as you want.

When the day arrives, they see you as another worn-out, used-up "old person," then you'll know depressing. Enjoy that toy store as long as you can.

When I was young, I tried to act age appropriate. In middle age and older, I am pretty much just myself. You could try to keep your immature self private and see how people treat you.

Regarding criminal justice, have you seen "The First 48" and "The Killer Speaks" on A&E network? Really good.
