It seems like everything I used to love has turned into an anxiety-producing, stress-filled chore. When I get the least bit interested in something, I start to get obsessed with it (in a bad way). Shortly after, somewhere between 2-7 days, I develop an overwhelming anxiety and hatred towards the interest. I have tried to push through and continue to pursue the interest, even up to 4-5 months, but the anxiety and abhorrence continues to worsen. This has left me with very few activities I can participate in, of which most I don't enjoy. Does this happen to anyone else? If so, how do you overcome this?

What do you mean you get obsessed "in a bad way"? What is it about the interest that makes you anxious? Is it the interest itself or the feeling that you shouldn't be partaking in it? I can't ever say I've been interested in anything that provoked anxiety in me.
