When asked questions like "what's up"? or "how are things"? so you tend to answer with a list of what you did during the day, in chronological order? For example, do you say "I went to the bank first thing in the morning, then I came back home to tidy up the bedroom, then I went to lunch with Ben, I read some papers, and then I called mom. I still have to go to the bank and the supermarket."

Basically you start off with the thing you did first during the day and continue to list the next things you did. I am trying to figure out if this is an aspie trait or a personal quirk.

I do this when people ask what I've been up to or what I've been doing all day, but I know that when people simply ask, "What's up?" they are generally just looking for, "Nothing much," as a response...

It's right up there with "how are you?".... apparently "I have gas and my knees hurt" is not an appropriate answer to NT's.
