Aspies think to much?

I was diagnosed with aspergers. Yesterday, I think I transcended it. I was at the library on a computer (mine currently has a virus and my big fat fingers make using my tablet unpleasant. Plus my tablet cannot post links). A big guy was sitting next to me. He reached over and tried to take my ear buds (tiny headphones to listen to the computer). I told him that they were mine. He continued to try and take them. I stated my opinion more forcefully. He said that they were his until he reached into his pocket,found his ear buds and apologized.
I had been ready to fight! As a matter of fact I wanted to fight. It would have been something to do on an otherwise dull day (I am always reactive to fights,never proactive). My intellect later told me that standing up for my ear buds was immature. Lose my library privileges and possibly go to jail over a $1 pair of ear buds?! Even worse,no one (that mattered) would have known. So my fight would have been superfluous because it would not have had the effect of making other people respect me.
Anyway, my wife and friends agreed (aspies always want validation for social behaviour )that if he had not given me back my ear buds I had to get more forceful and risk a fight.
My instincts prevailed over my logic! Perhaps I am not as much an aspie as I thought!

Note that I said RISK a fight. If I had been more appropriately forceful I am sure a fight would have happened.

Not letting some guy snatch your stuff isn't usually going to lead to a fistfight(in most areas). He was out of line and you stood up for yourself. Sounds normal to me.

I wouldn't say you're less of an aspie, you're just a high functional one.

To address the topic header, no, aspies don't think too much, NT's think too little.
