I am still a "new" aspie and trying to tell what is what.
The psychologist, who is evaluating me, saw some ADHD in me at the first meeting because of my speed-talking and -thinking.
Nerves, I said, but now I am wondering a bit. Stress can make anything sound unintelligible, and I am VERY prone to become stressed out. I have always had trouble concentrating on a whole instruction. I always miss something. There could be different reasons.
At school, I was told: "Concentrate! Focus!, and I concentrated on focusing
(Ididn´t have trouble learning and understanding, though). (AS?)
When a question was thrown at the class, I took it from every possible angle, and once I was ready to roll out a brilliant answer, the class had moved on.(AS?)
Today I always seem to miss part of the instruction (at work trial), which adds to my nervousness.
I have difficulty telling the trail of a whole movie, because I tend to remember scenes and forget quite large parts between the scenes that caught me. More or less the same with books and courses. I have difficulty explaining to others what went on afterwards. (ADHD?)
I did all right at the University, but that was about my special interest.

Would this inattentiveness, selective attentiveness, or what, be part of AS or a streak of ADHD?

Do anyone know som links about attention training?
(My mother was an aspie with ADHD. That is for sure).

Asperger's and A.D.H.D. are common comorids; somewhere between 60% and 70% of people with AS also meet the diagnostic criteria for A.D.H.D.

With regard to ADHD and Asperger’s , there is a large overlap in symptomology. In my experience, roughly 60-70 percent of children with Asperger’s Syndrome have symptoms which are compatible with an ADHD diagnosis. In fact, so common are ADHD symptoms in PDD that the PDD diagnosis technically subsumes ADHD. DSM IV dictates that a diagnosis of ADHD not be given along with a diagnosis of Autistic Disorder. Nevertheless, when ADHD symptoms are present in Asperger’s Disorder and respond to psychostimulants, I frequently also specify the ADHD diagnosis to remind care-takers that these symptoms are a prominent part of the Asperger’s picture.

As for attention training, CogniFit appears to have an attention training program.

I was diagnosed ADHD at 19 years old, and now im getting a ASD diagnosis. I also have dyscalculia and NLD( non verbal learning disability)
I might be "More" ASD than ADHD, but my psychiatrist is keeping the ADHD diagnosis on me.

Cognifit looks ok, but their free account seems to be for business people only.
